Is Sonar free?
Yes. No wallet connection, no sign-up, nothing to install. It only reads public blockchain and market data.
Does the ping work when the tab is closed?
No. Contact watch runs in your browser, so keep the Sonar tab open. Browsers check background tabs less often, sometimes only once a minute, and sound only plays after you have clicked somewhere on the page once.
What counts as a dev sell?
A transaction where the creator wallet's balance of the token goes down and its SOL goes up. If tokens leave the wallet without SOL coming back, Sonar flags it as moved to another wallet, which also triggers the ping. You can then lock onto that wallet too.
Can a dev hide from Sonar?
Partly. A dev can buy and sell from wallets that are not linked to the launch. Sonar follows the creator wallet and any wallet you add. It cannot see everything, so treat it as one more instrument, not a guarantee.
How is the current report made?
Sonar combines Jupiter's top trending, top traded and top organic lists for the chosen timeframe, removes stocks, stablecoins and majors, and sorts each memecoin into a meta by its name. The current comes from the volume-weighted price change of each meta. It refreshes every minute.
